Original hand-pulled limited edition block print of a juvenile Santa Cruz black salamander, framed by delicate ferns and a scattering of pebbles, and accented by hand with gold ink. These magical little creatures look like liquid made solid, or a little bit of the night sky fallen to earth. This piece is my attempt to capture some of that magic in ink on paper.

Printed in prussian blue Cranfield Caligo Safe Wash Relief Ink with a subtle shimmer on Light Chiri Unryu paper with natural bark inclusions, and hand stippled with gold ink. The paper measures 8”x10”, and the printed area is approximately 4.75”x 7”. Edition size is 150 prints.
